Kimberly Access specialise in powered access. Our combined powered access platforms for hire including cherry pickers, scissor lifts and other MEWPS (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms) currently stands at over 3,500 units, covering heights from as small as 3 metre pop up machines to massive 58 metre cherry pickers.

Our Philosophy – National Company, Local Touch

In May 2010 the Kimberly Group acquired 1st Access Rentals based in Motherwell. This was followed by the purchase of High Level Platforms Ltd based at Poole, Dorset. In September 2011, we opened a new depot in County Durham to provide local coverage in the North East of England. Both 1st Access Rentals and High Level Platforms operate as autonomous entities within the Kimberly Group retaining their own distinct identities, management and staff. We believe in keeping the personal touch from well respected, locally based businesses backed by the financial strength, fleet size, management experience and expertise of a national company.

Our Individual Businesses

Kimberly Access – Started in 1994, Kimberly Access had always had a strong presence in the heartland of England with access hire depots in every key region in the UK. Following a management buyout in 2007, the Kimberly Access has pursued a careful growth strategy to become one of the leading players within the UK access hire rental industry. Our access hire depots cover North West England, North East England, Yorkshire, the Midlands, London and the South East.

1st Access Rentals – Since its incorporation in 2003, 1st Access Rentals has grown rapidly to be one of the most success companies in the powered access business. From the Motherwell depot, with a fleet of over 600 powered access platforms, supplemented by the wider Kimberly Group, 1st Access Rentals offers the capability to meet any powered access needs in Central and Southern Scotland.

High Level Platforms – High Level Platforms entered the access industry in 2003. Located in Poole in Dorset, High Level Platform is on target to become a major business covering the south coast from Brighton to Plymouth. Linking with the Kimberly Access depots in London, the combined business can meet any access needs in the South West of England.
